Danny
ABV 4%

Golden floral hoppy ale, specially brewed to help restore the Daniel Adamson.

‘A quaffing beer for all the crew’

Where did the name come from?
We are working in partnership with the Daniel Adamson Preservation Trust to raise money for the restoration of a unique steam ‘tug tender’ that once plied the waters of the North West until 1984.

Flaxen Jade
ABV 3.7%

An oh so true blonde, with citrusy notes and a black pepper kick.

Where did the name come from?
Suggested by the colour of the beer as flaxen is another word for blonde and we have used a hop called Pacific Jade.

Frodsham Brewery is a small, friendly, craft based brewery and shop, run by Barrie ‘The Brewer’ and his wife Hazel. We began brewing in 2005 and since then have won many awards for our beer, as well as a reputation for quality ale and a worldwide fan base.

Why not come and visit the brewery where you can sample some of our handcrafted beer, talk to the brewer and buy our award winning ale?

We use only natural products to ensure and uphold the real ale reputation of handmade, quality bottled beer. The effort we take to produce a superior locally brewed beer comes through in the taste.

All our beer is brewed, casked and bottled on site using our own original recipes. We consistently produce high quality beers from our existing range and also work on new, unique beers. We never blend or copy beers, all our beers are of distinction, honest and true.

We recently rebranded from Stationhouse Brewery, to Frodsham Brewery to reflect the fact that we are happy settled permanently here in Frodsham. As part of this change Frodsham Brewery launched Frodsham 800 Ale – a bitter hoppy beer, 4.7%, single hopped with Nelson Sauvin (to celebrate Frodsham’s 800th Birthday). Winner of Frodsham Beer Festival in May 2009!

Frodsham Brewery will incorporate the Stationhouse brand - maintaining beers such as Buzzin, 1st Lite, Wintafest etc. – in fact all the old favourites under the Stationhouse masthead.

All new beers will be bottled increasing the now extensive range available at the brewery shop. Bottles are also available at several Farm Shops and Garden Centres including Bents, the Hollies, Northern Harvest & many more.

The Brewery has an extensive range of beers which include the following:

1st Lite 3.8% A pale bitter with grapefruit and citrus tones and a ‘stay in the mouth’ after taste.
Splash 3.9% A blonde, refreshing summer beer. Crisp and citrus with hoppy flavours.
MynzaMild 3.9% Mahogany Mild with fruity aftertaste.
Froda’s Ale 4.2% A traditional tawny bitter with hoppy and slight liquorice taste.
Buzzin’ 4.3% Golden fruity bitter with a hint of honey and a dry finish.
Aonach 4.9% A typical Scottish style 80/- beer, dark amber in colour.
Lammastide 5.0% An English wheat beer with distinct elderflower aroma.
Nightmail 4.7% A dry, jet black stout using roasted barley, oat malt and three hop additions. Sharp with mellow after taste.
